- Using this model of software licensing, Software Assurance is built in, meaning
that when the next version of TFS is released you automatically have the rights
to upgrade and start using it and we do the upgrade for you at no additional charge
TFS is hosted on a Team Foundation
Consulting machine, on-site at your premises:
- Team Foundation specialists install and configure TFS on a server for you
- This server is delivered to your premises and configured on your network
- If you require Team Build or Lab Management environment, this is configured on your
own infrastructure with our assistance
We maintain the server on a monthly basis, performing
tasks such as:
- Evaluating overall performance
- Verifying that backups are being done correctly
- Upgrading the server if the performance is degrading to unacceptable levels
In addition to this:
- We include a certain amount of hours per month for support, available to your team
on any topics relating to TFS. These could be used for customisation of TFS
or for team training and mentoring
- At the end of each month we generate a report indicating who used TFS. We invoice
according to your actual usage on a per-subscriber basis, if you have a month where
no-one used TFS, the subscriber amount will be R0!
